Paleo Cinnamon Rolls
For Dough
- 2 Bananas
- 1 cup Ground Flax Seed
- 1 cup Water
- 4 tbls Honey
- 4 tbls melted Coconut Oil
- 2 tsp Vanilla
- 1 1/3 cup Coconut Flour
- 1 tsp Sea Salt
- 2 tsp Baking Soda
- 1 tsp Cinnamon
For Filling:
- Cinnamon
- Honey
- Chopped Apples
-Preheat oven to 350 degrees
-Line baking sheet with parchment paper
-Mix together flax seed and water, heat in microwave for 1-2 minutes until thickened texture
-Mash bananas and mix in
-Add all liquid ingredients and stir well
-Mix in dry ingredients (may require additional coconut flour if dough is too sticky)
-Roll out dough into large rectangle
**I split dough in half and rolled it into two rectangles to make smaller cinnamon rolls**
-Layer on honey and chopped apples
-Roll up dough and cut into equal pieces
-Baked for 15-20 minutes
-Top with honey, greek yogurt, apples
-Enjoy!
