Black Bean Burgers


Black Bean Burgers with Sriracha Aioli


  • 15 ounce can unsalted black beans, rinsed and drained
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 1 small can of green chilies
  • 1 tbs minced garlic
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 cup panko
  • 1 large egg lightly beaten

-Preheat oven to 425 degrees F
-Place beans in a large bowl and lightly mash
-Stir in onion, chilies, garlic, pepper, panko and egg
-Divide mixture into 4 portions
-Shape each portion into a patty
-Bake on a baking spray coated cookie sheet for 8 minutes, flip and bake 6 more minutes
-Top with Sriracha Aioli, tomatoes, and wrap in lettuce 




Sriracha Aioli
  • -1 tsp Sriracha
  • -1 tsp lime juice
  • -1/4 cup mayonnaise
-mix ingredients in a bowl
